  • The Service is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

1. Who we are

Christopher Goyette & Nolan Pero ("we", "us") operates Mind over Markets and is the controller for personal information processed through the Service. You can reach us through the in-app support form.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, and error/diagnostic logs. This is used for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and improving the product.

Information from third parties

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email, avatar) from Google. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe sends us billing metadata (plan, status, last 4 digits of card, country) — we never receive or store your full card number.

3. How we use your information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate you and secure your account;
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Debug errors and monitor performance;
  • Communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service, and support;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your journal entries, trades, or Nous conversations to train third-party AI models. Nous prompts are sent to our AI provider solely to generate the response back to you.

4. How we share your information

  • Stripe — payment processing, subscription management, invoicing.
  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, AI inference, analytics, error tracking, and customer-support tooling. They are bound by contract to use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities where required by law (subpoena, court order, lawful request).
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer to the successor, subject to this notice.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA).

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app support form. We will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 30–45 days) and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

US state residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others with comprehensive privacy laws) have the rights listed above. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" action is required — that choice is the default.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and operational purposes. When you request deletion we will delete or de-identify your information promptly, subject to legal holds and backup-retention cycles.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege server roles — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

9. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and we may use limited analytics to understand product usage. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for cross-site behavioral advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service or submit any information to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through the in-app support form and we will delete it.

Users between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where local law requires it.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
